Confessions of a Composer – An Audience with John Rutter

Wednesday, 16 October 2019
20.00

A rare opportunity to hear one of the world’s greatest living composers, John Rutter, talk about his journey through music and to sample his body of work. His choral music is performed widely around the world, with a significant number of pieces now seen as standards for choirs, and he is especially revered for his composition and arrangement of Christmas carols. John was chosen by the Royal Family to oversee the music for the weddings of Prince William and Prince Harry.

“I’ve known I wanted to be a musician ever since I could walk and talk. Now I try to cope with the flood of commitments that a musician’s life involves. Some day I’ll get round to some hobbies…”.
