The biggest project of my entire career is about to come to fruition with the publication in November of Sacred Choruses, a 384-page volume I have been working on as editor for the past two years, plus its companion 240-page volume of organ accompaniments. Work is finally almost complete, and I must turn my attention to planning a busy round of Christmas concerts in London, Birmingham, Cambridge, and the wonderful new Saffron Hall in Essex. There’s a carol to write for the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, a speech to deliver at a Vatican conference (I did tell them I was C of E), a concert in Madrid, and three singing days to lead in the UK. I shall be speaking at a reception in support of the Diamond Fund for Choristers, and briefly conducting at the launch of the new Musicians’ Church at St Stephen Walbrook. I look forward to it all.
Congratulations and all the best for your busy time ahead. It’s going to be a treasure volume!
Waiting impatiently to purchase multiple copies for all my choirs!
May God be with you and guide you all the way. Thanks for your hard work!
