Choral Music Weekend – Ochsenhausen

In this course, John will work on his Requiem, a work for soprano solo, mixed choir, and orchestra, as well as another oratorio. These works will be performed in a festive concert to mark the 900th anniversary of Rot an der Rot Abbey. In addition, a selection of his best-known works, and new choral pieces will be rehearsed in reading sessions throughout the weekend.

The grand finale is the “Come and Sing with John Rutter” on Sunday afternoon. Here, the course participants will merge with the audience to form a large choir and sing a selection of his works in the library hall.
