We’re back to start your Christmas season with a very special anniversary event live in Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford on Friday 10th December and simultaneously streaming online for those of you unable to join us in person.
The internationally renowned composer, John Rutter, has created a new Christmas carol especially for our Follow the Stars anniversary concert. This new composition will be premiered on the night and performed for you by the beautiful voices of the Oxford Bach Soloists.
This carol has been composed for us in recognition of the astonishing generosity shown by you and all the volunteers and supporters of our popular Christmas event. With your help we have collectively raised over £500,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support over the last 25 years.
Joining you for the extra special Follow the Stars evening will be the familiar faces of Mary Berry and Toby Jones along with British actresses Gugu Mbatha-Raw, (Dr Who, Loki and Belle) and Aimee Lou Wood (Sex Education and Uncle Vanya). They will bring to life a wide variety of your favourite Christmas readings alongside spine-tingling performances from our soloists and choir – unique qualities for which this sell-out concert has always been so popular.
