This special evening will feature brass fanfares and great choral works, celebrating the power of music to uplift and inspire.
John will be conducting some of the works and Sussex-born actor of stage and screen, Noah Huntley, will read selections from literature inspired by Sussex’s landscapes and history.
The music programme has been selected by John, and features some of his works alongside those he admires, many with a Sussex connection.
This is fundraising concert for the Chichester Cathedral Platinum Endowment Trust for Music, set up to secure the future of music at Chichester Cathedral for generations to come.
