John Rutter Singing Day – Hull

In this all-day choral workshop, led by the celebrated composer and conductor John Rutter, you will be singing choral music to lift the spirits. There will be a mixture of old and new, including some of John Rutter’s own well-loved choral works.

The day will be accompanied on the piano by Julian Savory, a well-known local musician, and by Rachel Dent, harpist, who was responsible for John’s first visit to Hull.

Registration and refreshments from 10am
Price: £20, including tea/coffee/juice and the hire of all the music you need for the day.

This is a one off event, co-ordinated by Stan Kell, with assistance from City of Hull Young Musicians’ Friends’ Association and Good Companye Choir. The proceeds will be split between:
