Requiem with John Rutter – Stockholm Cathedral

John returns to Storkyrkan to conduct his beloved Requiem, one of the most cherished choral works of our time. Together with the Stockholm Cathedral Choir, chamber orchestra, and soloist, Rutter offers an evening filled with light and solace.

Rutter’s Requiem (1985) is a beautiful, moving interpretation of the traditional Mass for the Dead, weaving together lyrical melodies and warm harmonies. The concert also features Fartein Valen’s evocative setting of Psalm 121, capturing the psalm’s message of comfort in expressive music.  After the great success of “Christmas with Rutter,” we are thrilled to once again collaborate with Sir John Rutter for a night where music brings hope, light, and comfort.
