Christmas with John Rutter

How time flies! Only two weeks left before the global celebration concert – a live streamed Christmas Celebration with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The concert will be streamed on Thursday 10th December at 7.30pm GMT and if you head to the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra website to get your ticket, you’ll be able to watch it from the comfort of your home. If you book your ticket before 10 December, you can benefit from unlimited views for 12 days after – what better soundtrack could there be to accompany your mince pie-making and festive gift-wrapping? Here’s an introduction from John.

The concert was filmed in the historic surroundings of St Albans Cathedral, a stunning building located in the heart of England’s Home Counties that is almost 1000 years old, with a stellar line up of artists:

Every year for almost 20 years, John has conducted a pair of concerts in the Royal Albert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, large choir, soloists and with an audience of 5,500 people who sing their lungs out to some of the great Christmas hymns. While it isn’t possible for that to take place in the usual way this year, we are excited to take this year’s celebration global. You will be able to tune in from wherever you are in the world and watch this special concert live, and re-watch as many times as you like for a full 12 days afterwards.

Why not dress up, pour yourself a mulled wine, warm a mince pie and tune in for a unique Christmas concert, featuring your favourite carols, rousing fanfares, Yuletide classics and much more. A joyful event, guaranteed to fill you with Christmas sparkle and cheer!

Tickets are available from £10 from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra website.
