John Rutter takes part in a lecture about the English choral music tradition, which has so much in common with the Italian one, but has developed its own particular course as a whole over the centuries, from Tallis and Byrd to the contemporary composers.
The conference will take place as an informal chat with director, Matteo Valbusa, with Italian translation for the audience.
There will be a short concert at the end of the conference, in English, with repertoire by Elgar, Stanford and Rutter.
