The Friends of St Mary’s Church, Sundridge are very pleased to announce that John Rutter is coming to Sevenoaks again for a Come and Sing Day. John Rutter is probably the world’s most important living choral composer and very much in demand, as you might expect. We are very excited and delighted that he has accepted our invitation for the third time.

The day will include highlights from John’s new collection of Sacred Choruses by the great masters – together with some of his own recent pieces, and a few old favourites.

John is one of the most successful contemporary composers working today. His choral writing is immensely popular with choirs and musical societies and is often heard on radio and TV. His music has featured in a number of British royal occasions, including the two most recent royal weddings.

John’s infectious enthusiasm and vast knowledge of choral music guarantee a day that is both fun and rewarding.

You will be accompanied by organist Morley Whitehead and we are pleased to be joined on the day by the G2 choir from the Edinburgh Academy, with their musical director, Susan Hamilton.
