Suzi’s Carol

Accompanied; SATB; Solo voice

Written for Suzi Digby and her choir Ora, this gentle, sacred, and lyrical setting complements the well-known 15th-century text from the Sloane MS:

‘A babe is born all of a may, to bring salvation unto us’. The SATB voices (with soprano solo) are underpinned by a melodic harp accompaniment, which includes a short quasi-cadenza.

The harp part will be published separately, with a piano reduction in the vocal score, and there will be an orchestral accompaniment available to hire at the OUP link below.
