A new arrangement of Blow, blow, thou winter wind for lower voices (TTBB) is out today on all major streaming platforms, as part of Oxford University Press’s latest set of recordings: Upper/Lower Voice 2022.
“This setting of a song from Act II of Shakespeare’s As You Like It was originally published as part of the cycle When Icicles Hang. Here, it has been specially adapted for TTBB choir, allowing tenors and basses to enjoy this artful, atmospheric setting of a famous Shakespearean extract.”
The new arrangement sits alongside recordings of pieces by Jenny Mahler, Sarah Quartel, B. E. Boykin, Marques L.A. Garrett and Ian Assersohn.

The new TTBB arrangement is published by Oxford University Press, and will also be included in John Rutter Choral Works for TTBB Voices, a new collection of anthems arranged for lower voices, which is due to be published in March 2022.
