Te Deum is a hymn of praise, appropriate for choral concerts as well as for use in sacred settings. The music is jubilant, straightforward, and appealing; with an extrovert organ accompaniment.

This lovely Irish carol became widely-known when Vaughan Williams included it in the Oxford Book of Carols in 1928. This arrangement by John Rutter was written in 1978.
Also in Carols for Choirs 3 and 100 Carols for Choirs.
This setting can be found both in Five Traditional Songs and Folk Songs for Choirs 1. The text is simple, while the arrangement is varied and charming.
This version of Rutter’s Communion Services III conforms to American liturgies. It is of use not only to Anglicans and Episcopalians, but also to Roman Catholics, Lutherans, Methodists and others who have adopted the ICET.
