John Rutter – The Piano Collection is out now, comprising 17 of John’s best-loved choral works arranged for solo piano. The album can be streamed across all digital platforms and listeners in the UK can also order the CD.

John says: “I had the idea of making piano transcriptions of some of my shorter choral pieces, and I knew immediately that there was only one person I wanted to play them: Wayne Marshall, my old friend and colleague who has had an enviable career as pianist, organist and conductor. We were able, thanks to digital technology, to make the album with me producing from my home in England with him recording the music beautifully in Malta. It’s been our pleasure to put it together, record it, and we hope you will enjoy listening to it.”
The sheet music is also available for keen pianists to enjoy at home during the festive season. The transcriptions include the lyrics within the score for family sing-alongs.
